Mercedes-Maybach S600 to be Launched in India on September 25

Mercedes’s most premium brand, the Maybach, will launch its S600 luxury sedan in India on September 25th. The S600, although based on the Mercedes S-Class, is a little bigger both in terms of style and luxury than the S-Class.
Powered by a 6.0-liter V12 engine, the Maybach S600 achieves 100kmph from a complete standstill in less than 5 seconds. The engine in the S600 gives a peak output of 515bhp and peak torque of 830Nm and is mated to a 9-speed 9G Tronic transmission system which supplies power to the rear-wheels of the car.
On the inside, the Maybach S600 comes packed with premium features like adjustable back seats with individual LCD screens, tray table and massagers.
The car in all likelihood will be brought to India through the CBU route and thus the price of the car would be on the higher side. We expect the Maybach S600 price in the Indian market to hover around the Rs.3crore mark.
