Demi Adriana is a love story of an ambitious journalist, Adriana with Dr Khairul. Adriana called off their wedding when Khairul deleted an email of her successful application to be a CNN journalist. As fate would have it, the couple met in Sumatera, after the eruption of volcanic mountain Mount Sinabung. Although it had been 5 years since they broke off, Adriana still kept resentment towards Khairul. Dr Khairul wanted to rekindle their love but Adriana was resistant to it.
To make matters worse, Syafik who used to love Adriana, came to the village to do coverage for his magazine. Adriana was excited to see Syafik whom they have lost contact for years. He took the opportunity to win her love. Dr Khairul never gave up and tried repeatedly to win Adriana’s love but he encountered some difficulties with the presence of Syafik. However, through patience and love, Dr Khairul finally managed to woo Adriana.
Unfortunately, Dr Khairul died after he had contracted a deadly disease when he accompanied her to the disastrous area. Adriana cannot help but blame herself for the cause of his death as she was the one who insisted on going to the site.
