Today we unbox a Tinker Bell (Tinkerbell) Disney Infinity figure and review a Toys R Us exclusive case to designed to hold Disney Infinity figures and power discs. The case is great because it holds a lot of figures, and the clear plastic holds them in place really well.
Tinker Bell is a character owned by Walt Disney and first appeared in the animated movie Peter Pan. She is a pixie fairy who lives in Neverland and helps Peter Pan, Wendy and the Lost Boys defeat the evil Captain Hook and his pirates using her pixie dust which gives her friends the power to fly! Tinker Bell has also appeared in Jake and the Neverland Pirates TV show on Disney Junior, as well as several of her own movies including Tinker Bell and the Legend of the Neverbeast, Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy, Tinker Bell: Secret of the Wings, Pixie Hollow Games, Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue and Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure.
Peter Pan is based on "Peter Pan or the Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up," a stage play by J. M. Barrie. Since then, Peter Pan has appeared in many other theatre performances, movies, books, comic books, TV shows and video games. Remember the Hook video game on SEGA Genesis? Awesome!
Disney Infinity figures are much like Skylanders or amiibo figures in that they are used with either the original Disney Infinity or Disney Infinity 2.0 to unlock new characters and features in the game. Disney Infinity figures represent characters from many different Disney franchises, including Sorceror’s Apprentice Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Rapunzel, Princess Anna, Queen Elsa, Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Tinkerbell, Spider-Man, Captain America, Iron Man, Hawkeye, Hulk, Thor, and characters from the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Incredibles, the Lone Ranger, Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Hero 6 and Monsters Inc. Can you believe that there is still no Wolverine Disney Infinity figure yet? Crazy!
The Disney Infinity video games are available on Playstation 3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Nintendo Wii, Wii U, 3DS, PC and mobile devices.
