Turkey’s own K.D. – Kivanç Dinler – comes out on top of 32-man final tournament as Ekaterina Bezgodova of Russia is crowned Red Bull Queen of the Rock. For the second year in a row, Dinler clinched the title in the toughest one-on-one street basketball tournament ever that brought players from twenty-two countries to the vibrant heart of Turkey to battle head-to-head in raw outdoor basketball on the rooftop of the Beykoz Leather and Shoe Factory.
ISTANBUL, Turkey – The determination to win the title was greater than ever, and – with no doubt – it was the toughest one-on-one street basketball tournament. In a single-elimination format, 38-year-old Kivanç Dinler (Izmir, Turkey) outperformed his opponents in the five-minute games that brought the crowd to their feet. Dinler played smart enough to claim the title for a second year in a row after a tight battle (10-9) against 23-year-old Tautvydas Zioba (Kaunas, Lithuania) in the final game play.
