10 Years After Katrina - The Battle for New Orleans Rages On

Ten years ago the Industrial Canal busted wide open and the floodwaters of Hurricane Katrina poured relentlessly into the Lower Ninth Ward, a struggling neighborhood of mostly poor black families that was, at the time, an actual neighborhood of 14,000. Today maybe 2,900 people live there.
