CM’s Remarks For Terming Arrest Of Dr Asim As Attack On Sindh Are Hilarious: Nadeem Nusrat

The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Coordination Committee Senior Deputy Convener Nadeem Nusrat termed the talks of the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on the occasion of inaugural ceremony of an Underpass in Karachi as absolutely contrary to the facts, in which the CM had held that the arrest of Dr Asim Hussain is an attack on Sindh province.
However, the captain (Qaim Ali Shah) did not remember that the attack is always carried under Captain’s aegis and that he had time and again asserted he is the Captain of the targeted operation in Karachi. The CM rather than holding the paramilitary Rangers as responsible for the “attack” should look around and own the responsibility, instead.
Nusrat while giving a strong rebuttal to CM on his claim that the MQM only conveyed its concerns and reservations to the Prime Minister alone and did not approach him, said that all is on record that MQM representatives called on him frequently and informed him about the atrocities on MQM and unconstitutional actions by the paramilitary Rangers. However, the CM had not only avoided to term those actions as attack on Sindh but had plainly defended them.
The MQM Coordination Committee Senior Deputy Convener Nadeem Nusrat said that the CM had also defended the Rangers for their raids on residence of MQM founder and leader Altaf Hussain and has also asserted that he would not have any objection but would equally be pleased with a raid on Bilawal House for arresting the terrorists.
With this record, the CM has no moral authority to alter the facts through placing the Rangers under his criticism, said Nusrat, adding that since the CM is the Captain of the targeted operation, he should own the entire responsibility like a man.
