Dramatic security camera footage has emerged from China of several people falling into a huge hole as it opens up in the pavement beneath their feet.
In the footage, captured on CCTV in Heilongjiang Province on Saturday, a woman can be seen trapped on a steel structure just below the surface of the pavement, while another four people fall right into the hole.
A group of bystanders helps to pull them back above ground.
According to local reports, the hole had an area of ten square metres and was two metres deep.
Four people were hospitalised with minor injuries.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
