OBC Ekta Manch calls ‘save quota’ dharna - Tv9 Gujarati

Ahmedabad: Strongly opposing the demand of Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) to include the Patel community in Other Backward Class (OBC) list, nearly one lakh people participated in the ‘anamat bachao (save reservation)’ dharna called by the OBC Ekta Manch near RTO circle in Ahmedabad Sunday. Alpesh Thakore, president of Thakore Kshatriya Sena, opposed the Patidars’ demand for their inclusion under OBC category. Thakore claimed that the OBC community was very disappointed by these demands and the lackadaisical attitude of the state government towards these agitations across the state.
