Horror-themed marriage proposal

A cool video has emerged from the USA of a horror movie-themed marriage proposal.
The footage, captured in Pasadena, California, shows the marriage proposal acted out in the style of John Carpenter's 1978 film 'Halloween'.
Alec, the proposer, can be seen surprising girlfriend Katherine on a street corner while dressed up in a blue jumpsuit and white mask, in the style of horror villain Michael Myers.
Katherine, initially frightened, then becomes overwhelmed with emotion when Alec gets down on one knee to propose. She accepts.
"Katherine is a horror film fanatic. So when it came time for me to propose, it was only natural that I do it in the style of her favourite movie," Alec wrote online.
Although the video was captured in 2014, it has only recently surfaced online.
