PM's Dept shouldn't spend so much on open houses

Pokok Sena MP Mahfuz Omar today urged the government to cut back on its budget for ministerial open houses, which has been rising since 2009, in view of the rising cost of living.
He adds that the excuse that such open houses are a tourist attraction were unacceptable, saying that it is a waste that burdens the people.
