PAS Syura Council supports Khalid
The powerful PAS Syura committee has declared its support for embattled Selangor menteri besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim.
In a joint statement, committee chair and PAS spiritual advisor Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat and his deputy Haron Din said the decision was made based on public interests which surpasses the interests of individuals and party.
They said Khalid should remain as menteri besar unless he was found guilty of breach of trust by an authoritative body like the MACC.
