Thailand to France by 'green' tuk-tuk

Bangkok, Aug 9 (EFE/EPA), (Camera: Diego Azubel).- A group of three friends, students and environmental activists who call themselves "The Pilgreens", have begun a 20,000-kilometre journey from Bangkok (Thailand) to Toulouse (France) in an electric "tuk tuk" powered by solar energy.
Remy Fernandes-Dandre, Karen Koulakian (French) and Ludwig Merz (German) have modified a traditional Thai rickshaw or "tuk tuk", installing solar panels on the roof of the vehicle, with which they hope to produce enough energy to cross 15 countries in Asia and Europe in 120 days.
