Extreme Hurricane Force Bora (Bura) - Croatia - March 05, 2015

Hurricane force bora winds on the Adriatic coast in Croatia. Wind gusts well over 200 kph or 125 mph caused lots of damage in this region. An unofficial measurement on the Pag bridge was 302 kph or 189 mph. This is like a category 5 hurricane. Many buildings were damaged and cars overturned. The bora is one of the most powerful local wind system on earth.
