In France Mr. Hazlitt believes that Communism remains a strong force, backing up his argument with voting statistics that 26% of votes were for Communists in the latest French election. In England, Mr. Hazlitt discusses the de-nationalization of the steel industry, the Iranian oil crisis, and the recent Conservative Party victory over the Labor Party in Great Britain.
