Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has all the reasons to be happy! His recently released EID flick Bajrangi Bhaijaan has got cash registers jingling. Seems like the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav has been mighty impressed with the film, as he declared the film tax free in the state!
Therefore, Salman thanked the CM and his government to make his latest offering tax-free in the state. The Dabangg Khan took to Twitter thanking the UP government.
Kabir Khan’s directorial that entered the coveted Rs. 300 crore club, was made tax-free after the film’s director met the Chief Minister with a request.
During the meeting, Akhilesh told Kabir that the state offers immense possibilities for film production owing to which the state government has unveiled an attractive and convenient film policy.
The state has made a lot of movies tax-free in the past such as Miss Tanakpur Haazir Ho, Tevar, Masaan and Hamari Adhuri Kahani.
