New Pluto Images Show Glacier-Like Nitrogen Ice Flows

Images of Pluto taken by the New Horizons spacecraft continue to excite NASA scientists. In the latest release, they believe they have been able to identify possible ice flows with an indication of recent geologic activity.

In the latest release, which focuses on the left edge of the heart-shaped area, they believe they have been able to identify possible ice flows with an indication of recent geologic activity. 

One analyst notes, “We’ve only seen surfaces like this on active worlds like Earth and Mars. I’m really smiling.”
