Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan COPIED From Chiranjeevi's Film Pasivadi Pranam

In a recent interview, KV Vijayendra Prasad, who penned Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Baahubali said that the success of latter belongs to Hindi cinema.

And, what if we tell you that Bajrangi Bhaijaan has been inspired from a Telugu movie? Wait…what? Well, Mr. Prasad said the film that’s minting moolah and has entered the coveted 100-crore club, is inspired from Chiranjeevi movie Pasivadi Pranam. The writer of the film wanted to rehash it and give it a modern touch.

Here’s what he said: “I had also learnt about the story of a Pakistani couple who came to India for their daughter’s heart surgery because they couldn’t afford it in their country.” This got him thinking and he planned to work on the story, which connected people across the border. Nice, hai na?
