Nicaraguans Celebrate Anniversary of Sandinista Revolution

Tens of thousands of Nicaraguans across the country poured into the streets to celebrate the 36th anniversary of the Sandinista Revolution. The largest rally was held in Managua and was addressed by President Daniel Ortega, himself a leader of the 1979 insurgency that toppled the U.S.-backed Antasacio Somoza dictatorship and improved the lives of millions of Nicaraguans. teleSUR
