West Virginia born, now Raleigh, North Carolina native, singer/songwriter Aaron Gallagher would like to introduce himself to you. Gallagher's music falls into the folk acoustic style with a twinge of country. His new EP Take My Hand exemplifies his sound, with the intricate and personable songwriting in songs like "Hangin' On". A former college athlete, Gallagher discovered his passion for playing guitar in college and started teaching video lessons to students across the world. His videos and music have gained him 50,000 YouTube subscribers so far, and his guitar lessons have reached 100 million lessons given in 100 countries.
Take My Hand is Gallagher's debut EP, and was recorded with many of his personal and close friends during 2013, and the record was released early in 2014. Gallagher regularly plays shows in North Carolina, with the occasional tour of the greater mid-south and East Coast. He's been known to tour outside of the US, including Canada and Puerto Rico. Expect a lot of big things to come from this rising star in 2015.
