Turkish musician/trumpet player-lover. In addition to makams in traditional Turkish music, Barış Demirel also highly influenced by Jazz, Ambient, Rock, Shoegaze, Avant-garde and Gainsbarre sounds, works with his trumpet for his journey to find his thing.
In his music, he enhances the voicing connection between the trumpet and the microphone using analog and digital equipments
At Roxy Music Days, a highly praised musical competition in Turkey since the '90s, he won the 1st prize in 2011. After this experience, leaning on his solo project, he performed in a number of festivals of Rock and Jazz and many concert halls.
In 2015 his first LP ”T.E.A.R.” released under the same label We Play.
