The four-piece audio-visual band Žen /xzen/ was formed in Zagreb, in 2009.
Their music ranges from post-rock, math-rock, kraut and noise to synth-electro and dream-pop. Combined with interesting arranging style and amazing live visuals it creates authentic psy-indie-rock experience.
Their debut album „I onda je sve počelo“ has been released in May 2013 by Unrecords, a queer feminist label based in Vienna (Austria).
Recently they have released a single “Iskrenost je posebna” (Andrea Giordani remix) on “Balkan under the radar: The Black Wave”
Žen have played numerous gigs throughout Europe, from Ex-Yu region, Austria, Germany, Slovakia, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Switzerland to Denmark and Sweden.
"Kraj početak" is one of the singles from their second album which at this point in post production and is up to be released this year.
