NoMara is a hard rock band with its roots planted in both Columbus, Ohio and Little Rock, ARK. Driven by lead singer Kelly Burdge and guitarist/producer John LeCompt (Even Devils Die/Evanescence/Machina) the band recently completed their second CD and will begin releasing the first single and video, “Sell Out” late December 2014. The complete CD will be released later in 2015.

To kick things off, NoMara will be hitting the road opening for veteran rockers, “Tesla” playing dates into the Spring beginning January 27, 2015 in San Antonio (Aztec Theatre) and finishing up on April 17th (House of Blues in Orlando) as well as doing some headline shows of their own.

In 2008, Kelly approached John along with Phil Taylor (Future Leaders of the World front-man) about getting together and doing a few songs for fun. Those few songs turned into 12 and NoMara was born. The self-titled CD was released in 2009 and sold 10,000 copies. NoMara toured minimally but did have the opportunity to play with Pop Evil and Tesla. In 2012, Kelly and John began working on new material out of John’s Red Room Studios in Little Rock. Two years later the duo has written their best work yet and is anxious to share it with the world and get out and play live.

Rounding out the NoMara line-up are rockers Jeremy Harris on guitar, Thad Ables on bass, and Jack Larson on drums. Jeremy Harris hales from Lima, Ohio and is known as the “The Six String Sensei”. Harris is a Saulo Ribeiro 1st Degree Black Belt and 2011 Pan American Black Belt Gold Medal Champion. Jack Larson, also from Little Rock is a hard rock drummer that has played with Burning Everafter and The Vail. Thad Abels on bass is a long-time friend of John’s going back to the Evanescence days as a guitar tech and most recently bassist in Machina.
