A MID-SUMMER NIGHT'S LOOKBOOK ~ PLUS MY BIRTHDAY GIVEAWAY!!

♡ TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY AND I WANT TO SHARE A GIFT WITH YOU. I HAVE A BRAND NEW SMASHBOX DOUBLE EXPOSURE EYESHADOW PALETTE TO GIVE AWAY AND ONE OF YOU IS GOING TO WIN IT.♡
♡ A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MY MID-SUMMER NIGHT'S LOOKBOOK... It's my take on raw industrial film - meeting up with nature... with a combination of glam/fashion. It's a combination of outfits I would wear on a cool summer night. There was about 160 wildfires burning across British Columbia on this day. The sun was red and covered in smoke/ashes. It was hard to breathe. The skyline was dark and mysterious. I packed up my truck with clothes and felt this was the perfect setting for this lookbook. I absolutely love coming to this area of my city... this is where the Fraser River runs through the South part of Vancouver, BC... the Knight Street Bridge is behind me. It's an industrial area with the most gorgeous scenery along the river. I love watching the tug boats... I grew up with my Dad working in the lumber/shipping industry. When I was little, I'd watch the tug boats push the giant freight ships out of the Georgia Straight. I loved watching the barges float down the river.... I watched the lumber logs being pulled by tugs all day long. This is where I feel at home. The song was edited in to match the mood. I'm a year older today and I feel the most at peace with myself than I have in my whole life. I want everyone to find their worth. I want my channel to bring you strength and inspire you to be as creative and bold as you want to be. The moment you let go of people and things who are holding you back from being your true self, the world suddenly opens up - it becomes brighter... it becomes a more empowering and happy place. Be true to who you are, your authentic self - don't ever settle for anything less than what you deserve.
