Dinanath Talks Abou his Son - Suntan - Nirupa Roy - Ashok Kumar
Dinanath (Ashok Kumar) comes to home for lunch and calls for Tulsi (Nirupa Roy). Postman comes with a letter of Kishore (Satyendra Kapoor). Kishore has asked for money for medical fees. Dinanath remembers the promise of marrying Kishore to Shanno, a promise given to Shanno's mother during her last breath.
Suntan is story of immense paternal love. The movie starts with the story of Ashok Kumar and Nirupa Roy- old parents of Kishore (Satyendra Kapoor), who did everything in their limit and educate their son Kishore so that he becomes a doctor. They work very hard to arrange money for his education. But he, instead of thanking for his parent's efforts, abandons them and moves out to make quick money. He marries a very rich girl and leads a lavish life with her. Then, they have a son and name him Ravi. Ravi is completely opposite of his father. Eventually, he comes to know about his father's deeds and decides to teach his parents, a lesson for misbehaving with his grandparents. Watch how he'll teach them a lesson with the help of Rekha.
