Masih mengandalkan mesin 1NZ-FE 1.497 cc 4 silinder 109 dk. Memakai platform yang sama dengan Toyota Vios. Namun, penampilan Yaris terbaru ini agak berbeda dengan Vios yang sudah lebih dulu beredar di Indonesia. Perbedaan utama ada di bodystyle dan bentuk roofline.
