Arlington, Texas—The first Buses for Baseball event of the 2015 season kicked off on Thursday, June 4, at Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas, when 50 individuals from Rae’s Hope, a local Dallas based charity, were treated to an unforgettable day at the ballpark as the personal guests of the Players Trust and Rangers players. This one-of-a-kind ballpark visit included free roundtrip transportation, tickets, souvenirs, food and beverages and personal greetings by more than 10 Texas Rangers players. Rae’s Hope’s mission is to support the development of girls from South Dallas and surrounding areas by providing preventive programs with a focus on healthy living, physical fitness, and education. Rae’s Hope is committed to increasing the number of girls who stay in school and do well academically, live healthy lives, achieve competency in critical life and financial skills, and contribute to their communities.

Our guests from Rae’s Hope enjoyed traveling to and from the game via the FOX Sports Southwest Fan Express bus, allowing the group to travel in style. Upon making their way to the field for an up-close view of batting practice, the group was greeted by Rangers’ players Elvis Andrus, Adrian Beltre, Carlos Corporan, Delino DeShields, Jon Edwards, Prince Fielder, Sam Freeman, Joey Gallo, Derek Holland, Leonys Martin, Ross Ohlendorf, Tanner Scheppers and Shawn Tolleson. The Players posed for photos and signed autographs for all in attendance.
