Creation of Truth Commission Agreed to at Colombia Peace Talks

The 37th round of the Colombian peace talks just concluded in Havana. The government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia agreed to the creation of a Truth Commission. The different forces that participated in the civil war baring responsibility for their role in the conflict and its victims has become a pressing need. Furthermore, the clarification of the truth of what occurred in the five-decade long struggle is a starting point for reconciliation to proceed. Natalia Margarita reports from Bogota. teleSUR
