Ted Cruz Apologizes for Mocking Vice President Biden

Take it easy Cruz! GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz made an ill-timed, ill-received joke about grieving Vice President Biden Wednesday night, just days after Biden’s son, Beau, died of brain cancer. According to the Detroit News, Cruz cracked his joke during a speech at a Republican Party dinner in Michigan. Within an hour of his joke Cruz apologized on his Facebook page. Saying: “It was a mistake to use an old joke about Joe Biden during his time of grief, and I sincerely apologize." Cruz has been repeating the same “old joke” about Biden since at least 2013.
