On June 21th the world celebrates the FÊTE DE LA Musique. Over 120 countries join this day of music on summer solistice that former Minister of Culture, Jack Lang, made official in 1981. You can watch live gigs at almost every corner in Berlin, especially in districts such as Kreuzberg, Mitte, Prenzlauer Berg and Neukölln. Professionals and amateurs perform for free mainly outdoor. Most indoor concerts are for free as well.
