BOC mulls barring oil imports in some ports

MANILA -- The Bureau of Customs is studying a proposal that will help curb oil smuggling in the country. Customs Commissioner Ruffy Biazon said limiting the number of ports which accept imported petroleum products will help the agency tighten its watch on oil imports.
