(1973) An amicable Amicus anthology of awfulness culled from assorted EC comics of the 1950s, including:
* "Midnight Mess" from TALES FROM THE CRYPT #35 (Apr-May 1953);
* "The Neat Job" a non-supernatural tale from EC's crimebuster book SHOCK SUSPENSTORIES #1.
* "This Trick'll Kill Ya" from TFTC #33 (Dec '52-Jan '53);
* "Bargain in Death" exhumed from TFTC #28 (Feb-Mar 1952); and,
* "Drawn and Quartered" was drawn (and quartered) from TFTC #26 (Oct-Nov 1951).
Yep, all but one of VAULT's five stories were actually from TALES--not ONE was actually from VAULT OF HORROR!--which might be why this film was also known as FURTHER TALES FROM THE CRYPT.
