Steven Seagal Shows Off His Best Aikido Moves

Greeted with thundering applause, legendary Hollywood actor Steven Seagal was the guest of honor at the Saratov International Youth Sambo Tournament – but he wasn’t there just to watch the competition. Steven took to the stage to demonstrate his mastery of aikido. Seagal began training in aikido, a Japanese martial art that focuses on redirecting the opponents energy, in 1964 and has since achieved a 7th dan degree, also becoming the first ever foreigner to open and operate an aikido dojo in Japan.
