2010 Bar exams marred by violence, blast

The celebrations that usually greet would-be lawyers taking the Bar exams in Manila turned to tragedy in September 2010 after allegedly drunken revelers turned to bashing beer bottles. Soon after, an explosion first thought as that of a pillbox disrupted the crowd.
The blast, later attributed to a grenade, was traced to frat members. This live report by ABS-CBN's Gretchen Malalad from Manila came just minutes after the blast that wounded many.
