UP #8444 August 13, 2007 006

This is UP #8444, the SD70ACe that led the UP Heritage Locomotives on their first run. They're having to wait on 3 trains ahead of them to get through Topeka. There was one train behind them at Perry waiting too. Taken about 8 AM looking East. They've changed out the horns, from K5HL to P3, but the engine is in beautiful shape. This video doesn't do it justice. I got some nice stills of it, and if you want one or two, let me know. You'll have to give me an e-mail address, and I'll be happy to send you a couple photos.
