Hanuman reaches Niddhivan and finds one Neelkadam from the Gardner. Mantrik calls Hanuman back; cheats him and takes the Neelkadam from him. He says that with the help of the Neelkadam , he can possess Lord Indra’s royal throne (Singhasan). Hanuman is shocked . He snatches back the Neelkadam and eats it. Mantrik gets angry and hurts Hanuman and throws him out. Hanuman is too weak as he has lost his physical strength. An evil spirit “Pretdham”(mahapret) possesses Hanuman’s body and removes his soul from his body. Lord Shiva appears in the jungle and asks other prets (evil spirit) to help Hanuman. Pretdham”(mahapret) challenges mantrik.
