Lesbians Germaine Trittle Leonin and Toni Abuan are not afraid to express their love for each other. The two were wed under an alternative church in the Philippines, although both are close to the Catholic church – one that has yet to accept gay marriages. Leonin and Abuan hope that Pope Francis will change the mindset of conservative Catholics.
