In a debate moderated by TIMES NOW's Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami, panelists -- Nalin Kohli, Natl Spokesperson, BJP & Advocate; R Rajagopalan, Senior Journalist; Ragini Nayak, Spokesperson, Congress; Kamal Faruqui, Political Analyst; Saba Naqvi, Political Editor, Outlook; and Arun Bhatia, Former IAS Officer -- discuss the issue of battle between Arvind Kejriwal and Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung over the appointment of a bureaucrat.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal fought against corruption in Commonwealth Games but wants a bureaucrat under CWG scanner. Did Kejriwal blackmail an upright officer to bring babu of his choice? The appointment of a bureaucrat for a top post has turned into an all-out blame game between the Delhi Government and the citys Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung. Initially, the Delhi Government stoked a controversy, for allegedly pressurizing a bureaucrat for dropping out of contention of a post. TIMES NOW accessed a communication between the bureaucrat and Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung, where the bureaucrat alleged that she was informed by the Delhi Government of being unsuitable for a post - as she allegedly favoured an agency, and hence should forego it on her own volition. The Lieutenant Governor ordered the appointment of the bureaucrat for the post in consideration, which has led the Government to question the decision.
