Portland police officer stops highway chase to save ducks

A Portland, Oregon police officer put a highway pursuit on hold to help a group of ducks in danger of being run over cross the highway. Officer Mark James no doubt expected a run-of-the-mill traffic stop when he caught sight of a traffic violator doing 52 in a 35 mph zone.
