Texas birthday party gone wild: two teenagers killed, 20 injured

Two teenagers were shot to death and other 20 people were injured at a birthday party in Houston, Texas on Saturday night.
According to Reuters, more than 100 people gathered in and around a home in the middle-class suburb of Cypress, northwest of Houston, for an 18-year-old's birthday party, which was promoted by the organizers on social media.
According to the Los Angeles Times, investigators said that the hosts had a bouncer who was checking guests for firearms.
The suspects refused to be patted down, left and then likely returned through the backyard.
At around 11:00 p.m., one of the guests fired a gunshot in celebration, which, according to reports, caused one of the suspects to react and fire an estimated 10 shots randomly into the crowd.
According to reports, two people were killed. Queric Richardson, a 17-year-old Cypress Springs High School student, died at the scene. A 16-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center Hospital. Her name has not been released.
Eighteen of those injured suffered gunshot wounds and one person's leg was broken in the chaos.
In a panicked rush to escape, some guests jumped from second-story windows while others forced their way out through a garage door.
Authorities are now searching for two male suspects, aged 17 and 22.
ABC quoted Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia as saying that alcohol and drugs do not appear to have been a factor in the shootings, but the suspects may be gang-affiliated.
No firearms have been recovered from the scene.
