Doctors gathered around the injured in a Kathmandu hospital on Tuesday after dozens were killed following a 7.4 magnitude earthquake that hit near Kodari. The epicentre of Tuesday's earthquake is believed to be roughly 50 miles (80 km) east of Kathmandu, near to the border with China, and close to the Everest base camp. A number of aftershocks, some measuring a magnitude of 6.3, followed the initial quake and tremors were felt as far away as New Delhi, India, where two people are believed to have been killed.
