Chinese woman's stomach bursts through diaphragm, collapses lung after eating too much

A 43-year-old Chinese woman surnamed Zheng (鄭) almost died after overeating caused her stomach to burst through her diaphragm causing her left lung to collapse.
Last Sunday Zheng and her friends enjoyed a sumptuous hot pot dinner before they went drinking.
After that, Zheng and her friends decided to live it up and continue the night by going on to a karaoke bar. She sang and danced the night away, but then started to feel sick after she got home. She began experiencing severe chest pain and was unable to breath properly.
The next day, she went to hospital and it was determined that her stomach had entered her thoracic cavity and had pressed against her left lung, causing it to collapse.
The doctor operated on her immediately and cut out one third of her stomach in a life-saving surgery.
After being almost killed by over indulgence, Zheng has said she will never overeat again.
