Student teacher fight: Video shows Santa Monica wrestling coach take down 'weed-selling' student

When you first watch the now viral video of a U.S. high school teacher getting physical with a student, you're tempted to think to yourself, "Here we go again...another bully abusing his power and being a jerk."
But here's the whole story: According to multiple reports, Mark Black, a Santa Monica high school teacher, had to deal with a rather naughty student.
The boy, who we won't name, allegedly pulled out a bag of weed in class, in plain view for all to see; some say he was even trying to sell the marijuana in class!
Teacher Black confronted the teen and tried to confiscate the illegal vegetable matter, but the student responded in a less than cooperative manner.
One version of story says the teenager even stabbed the teacher with a pencil.
So, Mr. Black--who also happens to be the school's wrestling coach-- 'subdued' the student.
Teacher Black was suspended for his actions, but a large number of students, parents, teachers and community residents rallied around the teacher.
As of April 7, a Facebook page supporting "Coach Black" had over 8500 'likes.'
