A 55-year-old policeman from Taiwan, has been charged after trying to sexually assault his wife's sister.
Last year, the policeman, surnamed Chen, snuck into the room of his sister-in-law living in the same house while his wife was out. Chen stealthily took off the woman's panties and rubbed lubricant over her privates, attempting to violate her. His sister-in-law resisted and Chen gave up in the end.
Chen was suspended and was sentenced to one year and eight months in jail for attempted sexual assault. His wife was granted to divorce with Chen with a compensation of US$6,640 (NT$200,000).
