We all know that when attending a wedding it's a good idea not to get too drunk or you might get yourself in trouble.
A man and a woman were invited to a wedding reception last Sunday at a hotel in Hsinchu, Taiwan.
The two met and hit it off, drinking and talking together. Before long they were both hammered.
Then, right at the perfect moment the woman gave the guy a deep French kiss, then immediately vomited all over the floor, for the entire party to see.
Friends raced to her side and took her to the bride's room to sleep it off. Some time after that, the drunk man was taken to the same room.
The woman claims that when the pair awoke the following day she was dressed only in her underwear. She believes the man raped her while she slept.
She picked up a desk lamp and struck the man over the head.
The man involved denies any wrongdoing, saying he was far too drunk to have raped raped her.
Unconvinced, the woman made a complaint to police. Officers arrived and found a number of condoms in the man's bag.
A later medical examination showed no sign of forced sex, yet the woman has filed a civil suit against the man. The man is also pressing charges for assault.
Neither the man nor the woman is letting the matter rest, with each suing the other for assault and sexual assault, respectively.
