Horrific car crash: driver beheaded after fleeing police to avoid ticket

This is the least thing you would ever expect when fleeing from the police to avoid a traffic citation.
Just after noon on June 25, 22-year-old Brooklyn driver Leroy Samuel was decapitated while fleeing from the police to avoid a traffic ticket in Brooklyn, New York.
The authorities denied that there was a police chase and said an officer on foot approached the black four-door 2003 Infinity sedan before Samuel fled.
However, witnesses said the sedan was being pursued by police cruisers with lights flashing and sirens on.
After Samuel's vehicle was pulled over by the NYPD in the area of Hicks Street and Atlantic Avenue, he sped away and headed for the eastbound Brooklyn-Queens Expressway Atlantic Avenue off-ramp. There, he slammed into the flatbed of a trailer that was waiting for red light on a Brooklyn-Queens Expressway exit ramp.
The impact was so strong that Samuel's head was decapitated instantly and then fell onto the back seat of his car.
His 22-year-old girlfriend rushed out of the car screaming but was caught by police before she fled the scene. She was later sent to Bellevue Hospital for back and neck pain and is now in stable condition, according to Official Fire Department City of New York (FDNY) spokesman and the NYPD.
