A man surnamed Zhang in New Taipei City robbed an electronics store in March, taking the equivalent of US $75. However, after getting his money, the horny 39-year-old wasn't satisfied.
The man used the remote to roll down the metal door, trapping the female clerk inside. He then began kissing and groping her. Instead of resisting, the clerk pretended to comply. Then, before anything more happened, she faked an asthma attack. Chang, however, insisted that if she "made him happy" she'd be fine, and pressed on.
The woman then told him she needed to do a number two, promising that she would "make him happy" afterward. Chang commanded her to take off all her clothes, but she hid her cellphone in her panties and managed to smuggle it to the bathroom with her. In there, she tried to call her friends for help, but as luck would have it, no one picked up. Inexplicably, she didn't try the 24-hour police line.
When Chang was about to force himself on her again, she asked to use the toilet again, this time saying she had diarrhea. She hid the remote for the front door in her trusted underwear. When she came out of the loo, she pulled a swift one and pressed the remote, allowing her to open the door and run out for help in her underwear.
Chang was yesterday sentenced to 7 years and 10 months in jail on charges of attempted rape and other offenses.
