A 23-year-old college grad was reportedly tortured and sexually abused by her ex-boyfriend and his female boss.
The victim, surnamed Chen, allegedly upset the boss, a 50-year-old woman surnamed Chang, who runs a pet shop. Chen's ex-boyfriend worked at the petshop and after they broke up, she reportedly continued to go to the shop everyday to beg for him to take her back.
On the 14th of June, Chang allegedly tricked the young woman into going to the shop basement while her ex-boyfriend, surnamed Hsu, was away. Chang then allegedly ripped off Chen's clothes, and scratched her breasts before stabbing her private parts with a broomstick and assaulting her with an electric mosquito zapper.
When Hsu returned to the shop and witnessed the torture, he joined his boss by pinning down his ex-girlfriend to allowed Chang to continue her assault. They released the victim only after she repeatedly pleaded for them to stop.
Despited having denied the accusations after Chen pressed charges, the two were still detained pending a police investigation.
Police also found at least one hundred small-sized and newborn dogs in Chang's shop, which they believe she illegally breeds and trades. The Tainan local office of Animal Protection and Health Inspection office will conduct a more thorough search at the shop on July 8.
