A Florida dad will not face charges after he took the law into his own hands and beat up a teen he caught raping his son.

The 35-year-old father, who police and the media are not identifying by name, found 18-year-old nextdoor neighbor Raymond Frolander in a compromising position with his 11-year-old kid around 1 a.m. on Friday.

"I didn't proceed to ask him any questions sir," the father told the 911 dispatcher after he beat Frolander unconscious and left him in a pool of blood.

"He is nice and knocked out on the floor for you. I drug him out to the living room."

"Send an ambulance," he told the dispatcher. "He is going to need one."

When asked by the dispatcher if any weapons were involved, the father said, "my foot and my fist."

Frolander allegedly admitted to the abuse, which the child said started three years ago. Frolander also allegedly told police he had been the victim of abuse.

Daytona Beach Police Chief Michael Chitwood told the Daytona Beach News Journal he had no problem with the father's actions.

Chitwood said the father had the right to do what he did.

"Dad was acting like a dad. I don't see anything we should charge the dad with," Chitwood said. "You have an 18-year-old who has clearly picked his target, groomed his target and had sex with the victim multiple times."

Frolander is being held without bail on charges of sexual battery by an 18-year-old on a victim under 12.

The victim's parents told local TV news station WFTV Channel 9 that they had welcomed Frolander in their home as one of their own since he was a child. The father knew Frolander because he used to be in a relationship with his mother.

"Raymond was really close ... he was a really big part of our family, of our daily life," the victim's mother said.
