Murder in Chile? 22-year-old Kentucky grad found dead in bathtub of her Temuco apartment

Police in Chile are investigating the mysterious death of 22-year-old Erica Hagan, a Kentucky native who was found dead in the bathtub of her apartment in Temuco.
After recently graduating from Kentucky’s Georgetown College, Hagan traveled to Temuco, Chile in July. She worked as an assistant English teacher at Colegio Bautista.
Just three months shy of her return date to the States, Hagan was found dead in the bathtub of her apartment on Saturday morning. She reportedly suffered three head wounds from a sharp object, leading police to treat the case a possible homicide. Investigators also say they found evidence of a small fire in Hagan’s apartment. So far no suspects have been named.
Hagan posted her final photos on her blog hours before she was killed. She blogged: “God has blessed me with many people here that care how I spend my time and don’t want me to be lonely while I’m here.”
