Apple officially unveiled the iPhone 6 during an event held in Flint Center on September 9th in Cupertino, California. The iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and the Apple Watch were introduced during the event.

Instead of the hard angle edge of iPhone 4 and 5, iPhone 6 has a half-curved edge from it’s back. If you really liked the curve from the previous iPhone 3, thats a good news for you.

Both new iPhones have improved their displays with their new Retina HD display. iPhone 6 has 1334 by 750 pixels with 326 ppi, while iPhone 6 plus has 1920 by 1080 pixels with 401 ppi. Although, the previously revealed scratch-proof material, Sapphire Glass, is not being used in the new iPhones. The 6 models are slightly thinner than the previous generation but they weigh a bit more.

And for those people with selfie addiction, here’s the bad news: Both the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have exact the same camera as previous generation with an 8 megapixel iSight camera and an ƒ/2.2 aperture. The only improvement is Apple’s “Focus Pixel” technology, which gives users improved autofocus, skin tones, facial recognition, and panoramic photography.

Some fans criticized that smartphones from other brands have have had many of the ‘new’ features for years.
